Software Engineer ( Embedded Software​/Firmware Development | Embedded Image Processing

Group/Division The KLA Services team consists of Service Sales, Marketing, Spares Supply Chain Management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, Digital Solutions and Analytics, and Technical Product Support.

Our services organization maximizes the value of our customers' KLA assets – with highly trained service and product support engineers providing installation services and 24/-7 technical support and parts delivery through our extensive supply chain network.

In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.

• Knowledge of structure, architecture and coding knowledge of C, C++,C# and java on Unix/Linux/Windows is required
• A highly motivated individual able to work in a multi-discipline and multi-culture global organization as a driven teammate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exposure to programming image processing system designs desired
• Exposure to writing embedded software for mechanical control from communications level to high level application development in C and C++ is desired
• Knowledge in standards-based messaging protocols, such as ethernet, serial and VMEbus is desired
• Knowledge of source control tools such as RTC, Clear Case ,GIT and Azure Devops
• Experience with image processing software is a plus
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), e.g., Embedded Linux, Android, VxWorks is a plus
• Experience with Solaris and other
  * NIX OS is a plus
• Experience in using AI coding assistants and agents is a plus
• Understanding of SEMI Equipment control software architecture is a plus

Minimum Qualifications Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience;
Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
