- Design, code, test, implement, and support application software delivered on time and within budget.
- Work closely with clients, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
- Participate in component and data architecture design, technology planning, product evaluation, advanced testing processes, and buy vs. build recommendations.
- Provide input to project plans related to the Application Development initiative.
- Generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
- Act as an expert technical resource for analyzing business requirements and software issues.
- Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support a multi-tier J2EE solution working with an Oracle DB.
- Ensure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for the business unit.
- Demonstrate strong customer focus and the ability to communicate technical specifications to all levels of management while managing multiple priorities.
- Eligibility:
Bachelor Degree & 4 years of experience, OR an Associate Degree or certifications (equivalent to 2 years) & 6 years of experience, OR a high school diploma or GED & 8 years related experience.
- Java experience and strong expertise in ETL and Cognos.
