Gear and Mechanical Drivetrain Engineer (Indefinite US Work Authorization Required)

We are looking for a qualified Manufacturing Engineer to support powertrain fixture design and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Good understanding of powertrain fixture design.

Experience in powertrain jig design based on specification documents.

2D detailing as per customer standards.

Part list creation.

Create pneumatic/hydraulic drawings for equipment functions.

3D modeling using Catia

V5 and 3DExperience.

Take design from concept through manufacturing and installation.

Perform basic engineering calculations to size machine components.

Analyze problems and implement improvements in existing designs and equipment.

Knowledge of metal removal cutting tools.

Perform basic FEA simulation using Solid Works.

Interact with client and stakeholders across North America & Canada to obtain required inputs and understand requirements.

Open to travel.

Use Solid Works 2020, AutoCAD (must), MS Office (must).

Qualifications

Mid‑Senior level experience.
Full‑time employment.
Industries:
Motor vehicle manufacturing, industrial machinery manufacturing, and automation machinery manufacturing.
