Honda Development & Manufacturing of America is seeking a Production Mechanical Design Engineer at our Anna Engine Plant in Anna, OH. You will design, model, and integrate automated manufacturing equipment, assembly machinery, and custom machine tools for engine production.

• Develop 3D CAD concepts and detailed manufacturing designs for automated production machinery.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to establish mechanical equipment requirements and specifications.
• Support on-site installation, machine alignment, and control system maturation on the plant floor.
• Create and manage critical path design schedules to meet new model project milestones.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure automated machinery adheres to Honda safety and ergonomic standards.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent work experience).
• 0-2 years of mechanical design experience (co-op or internship experience preferred).
• Proficiency with 3D CAD modeling software and engineering calculations.
• Background in automated equipment development or machine tool design.
• Effective verbal and written technical communication skills.
