Honda Development & Manufacturing of America is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer at the Anna Engine Plant in Anna, OH. You will lead equipment reliability improvements, analyze machine downtime using PDCA, and implement automated technologies to achieve plant SQCDME targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and root cause investigations on automated engine manufacturing equipment.
- Review daily shift reports, identify downtime gaps, and implement permanent engineering countermeasures.
- Lead machinery enhancement projects and evaluate new automation technologies to improve equipment efficiency.
- Manage investment and operating expense budgets to achieve department cost targets.
- Develop technical capabilities of maintenance technicians through training and mentorship.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering or Technology (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical).
- 0-6 years of engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing setting (co-op experience welcomed).
- Familiarity with automated equipment, PLC troubleshooting, quality gauging, and instrumentation.
- Strong technical analytical skills and desire to work hands-on on the factory floor.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
