Health Fitness, a Trustmark company, is a proven leader in providing fitness solutions that engage and connect people both on‑site and online, creating a strong community of health. The role is full‑time (40 hours/week) at our client site in Anna, Ohio, approximately 25 miles south of Lima.

We are hiring a full‑time Lifeguard. This role is perfect for individuals who value safety, enjoy helping others, and want to stay active in a welcoming aquatic environment.

• Monitor and ensure safety and well‑being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
• Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
• Respond appropriately to any emergency.
• Perform chemical testing and document results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.
• Attend all required staff meetings and training.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as folding towels, cleaning, filling water machines, and inspecting the facility to ensure a safe environment for members.
• Maintain a professional attitude.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard certification with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification. Site may provide certification training at discounted rate.
• Meet Health Fitness fitness and skill standards.
• Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and working knowledge of member management systems, databases, and tools.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including pre‑employment drug test.

• 500‑yard swim.
• Active, passive, submerged rescues.
• Spinal injury management in shallow and deep water.
• Other various techniques learned during the Lifeguard Training Program.

Compensation: $14–$17 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
