Responsibilities- Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist
- Assist Physical Therapist in the execution of patient evaluations and complex treatment procedures
- Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by Physical Therapist
- Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided
- Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the Physical Therapy Practice A
· C·E and Code of Ethics - Perform other duties as assigned
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university required
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas required
- Must pass all pre‑employment and employment verifications
