This full‑time position has a base pay range of $16.00/hr to $18.00/hr the actual compensation will depend on geographic location, skills, and experience.

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on an assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, and efficient checkout service.
• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engage customers by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Recommend items for sale and guide customers to appropriate aisles.
• Collect cash, distribute change, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keep counters and shelves clean, merchandise, conduct inventory, and maintain records.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems, verify accuracy, fill prescriptions, schedule tasks, and report prescription errors.
• Handle non‑pharmacist telephone calls, including physician calls.
• Process manual claims for third‑party prescription programs and perform other clerical duties.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, unpacking, and storing of pharmaceuticals.
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations for regulated products.
• Build and maintain product displays, perform merchandising resets, and manage store equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, print services, and suggestive selling.
• Assist with web pickup responsibilities and process orders.
• Maintain a clean store appearance and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or a state‑required certification/registration.
• Attend training, complete PPLs, and acquire continuing education credits to stay current in healthcare and pharmacy knowledge.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Strong math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification.
