Project Manager – Owner’s Representative (University Construction Projects)

Location: Annandale, VA (Hybrid – 3 days on-site)

We are seeking a Project Manager to join an established Owner’s Representative firm supporting large‑scale vertical construction projects for university clients. This individual will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered in alignment with customer regulations, budgetary constraints, and established timelines. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams and oversee general contractor (GC) performance to drive successful outcomes.

• Manage and oversee vertical construction projects for university customers from planning through completion
• Ensure project delivery meets client regulations, budget requirements, and schedule commitments
• Act as the primary liaison between the owner, GC, and project stakeholders to maintain alignment and resolve issues
• Monitor GC performance, quality control, and compliance with contractual obligations
• Collaborate with internal teams to track progress, prepare reports, and support decision‑making
• Facilitate communication with university representatives and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (strongly preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of relevant project management experience in vertical construction projects
• Experience working with owner’s representative firms or directly supporting institutional clients preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction regulations, compliance standards, and project delivery methods
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule with 3 days on‑site in Annandale, VA
