Senior Project Civil Engineer
Company: Abstrakt Marketing Group
Full‑time direct placement role are seeking Civil Engineering Project Managers with 6+ years of experience in land development, site design, and water resource projects. Successful candidates will lead and manage land development engineering projects. The position is based in our Annandale or Chantilly, VA office.
Typical Duties- Creation of CAD drawings and details for site and subdivision plans.
- Site layout and utility design.
- Horizontal and vertical design of roadways.
- Preparation of erosion and sediment control plans.
- Generating hydrologic computations for stormwater management facilities.
- Performing pavement design computations.
- Performing site distance analysis.
- Preparing site work quantity take‑offs.
- Coordination with internal and external engineers, architects, county reviewers, and other stakeholders.
- A B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- EIT certification (highly preferred).
- High proficiency in designing, preparing, and processing land development applications in Northern Virginia jurisdictions.
- Experience with residential, commercial and mixed‑use land development projects.
- Ability to make well‑informed and sound design decisions based on civil engineering concepts and locality requirements.
- Knowledge to contribute to the preparation of full sets of construction plans.
- Technical expertise in civil engineering design, including site grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure.
- Depth of knowledge to ensure excellence across all completed work products.
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate design updates.
- Strong time and project management skills.

Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year.
