Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (VA Area)

Join Kona Medical Consulting as a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician in Virginia. We provide in‑home ABA services to children with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and other developmental disabilities.

• $22.00 /hour – $30.00 /hour (Base pay)
• $27.00 – $30.00 /hour for candidates with an active RBT credential

• Implement behavior treatment programs as designed by the supervising Behavior Analyst.
• Collect data and complete treatment notes as required.
• Work independently, write daily notes, and maintain behavior data.
• Train parents and caregivers and apply behavior management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field.
• Minimum 15 hours per week (8 am–7 pm) and at least 1 year experience with children.
• Current RBT credential and active BACB standing (or eligible to take RBT exam).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification, TB test, and valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

• Childcare: 1 year (Required)
• Working with people with autism: 1 year (Preferred)
• Applied behavior analysis: 1 year (Preferred)

• Driver’s License (Required)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• RBT Certification (Preferred)

Paid training and flexible schedule (up to 30 hours per week). We follow all CDC guidelines when providing therapy sessions.
