Inova Physical Therapy Annandale is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. We provide a state-of-the-art office environment and a supportive work culture.

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete daily progress notes reflecting patient responses, performance, and treatment assessments, including discharge summaries when applicable.
• Instruct ancillary staff on patient positioning, mobility, and caregiving; educate patients and families on home exercises, transfers, safety, and adaptive equipment.
• Document clearly and legibly within established time frames to support treatment continuity and reimbursement.
• Engage families and caregivers in education and training as appropriate; collaborate with team members and be receptive to feedback and change.
• Communicate proactively with families, physicians, and healthcare team members to address patient needs and facilitate effective treatment plans.
• Adjust treatment methods as patients progress or regress, acting accordingly.
• Provide educational materials suitable to the patient's understanding and motivation levels.

Additional Requirements:

• Certification:
  Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Licensure:
  Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in Virginia
• Experience:
  
  Graduate or new graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program
• Education:
  
  Associate degree from a licensed physical therapy assistant program
