As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrol in Annandale, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence within a healthcare location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing proper judgment and protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help maintain order and protect property.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and emergencies.
• Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site-specific requirements.
• Remain alert and observant to help identify potential risks and/or hazards within the healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
