Executive Legal Assistant to Managing Partner

💰 $40,000–$60,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

We are working with a well-established law firm client in Annapolis, MD that is seeking a highly dependable Executive Legal Assistant to directly support the Managing Partner.

This role is ideal for someone who values structure, discretion, and long-term stability. The successful candidate will be a steady, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in anticipating needs, managing sensitive matters with care, and supporting traditional legal workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to the Managing Partner
  • Manage complex calendars, deadlines, and scheduling
  • Prepare and maintain client files (physical and digital)
  • Assist with client intake and file setup
  • Draft, format, and proof legal documents and correspondence
  • Support legal research and memorandum preparation
  • Handle filing, dictation, typing, and record maintenance
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and internal staff
  • Work comfortably within legacy systems and established processes

  • Ability to adapt to traditional workflows and systems
