Position ObjectiveThe Supply Chain Systems Manager is responsible for optimizing Luminis Health’s enterprise‑wide supply chain systems to support vendor enablement, sourcing, procurement, item master maintenance, inventory management, supply replenishment, receiving, and both internal and external distribution. This role drives initiatives that align with a system‑wide vision, fostering collaboration and commitment to future‑state objectives. The manager actively identifies opportunities to standardize and streamline processes across vendor enablement, ordering, inventory control, and distribution, leveraging robust technology platforms.
The ultimate goal is to build a highly efficient supply chain foundation that enhances transparency, strengthens financial and operational controls, and delivers greater value‑added services through optimized electronic procure‑to‑pay systems. Working closely with the Vice President of Supply Chain and key stakeholders, the manager prioritizes and implements system improvements that advance Luminis Health’s strategic objectives. The manager continually assesses areas of weakness—such as financial control, customer satisfaction, and cycle times—and develops both short‑ and long‑term solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
Job Duties
- Oversee daily operations of supply chain management systems, including Finance ERP, Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX), Jump Technology, PAR Excellence, Symplr, EPIC, and ECRI, ensuring optimal item file maintenance, vendor transaction enablement, and content management.
- Design and refine business processes to maximize system utilization, manage system access (GHX), deliver end‑user training (Finance ERP, Symplr), and generate actionable reporting.
- Develop and maintain supply chain technology strategies and roadmaps that enable new capabilities while optimizing existing systems. Track project progress and provide regular updates.
- Build and sustain strong business relationships across the Supply Chain organization to understand processes, identify gaps, and drive efficiency improvements. Facilitate collaboration with process partners through regular meetings, problem resolution, and standard‑setting.
- Partner with business leaders to assess the maturity of supply chain processes and capabilities, creating shared visions and actionable roadmaps for both short‑ and long‑term goals.
- Provide guidance to supply chain functions on articulating technology needs, developing business cases, and leveraging IT capabilities to enhance service delivery and financial outcomes.
- Collaborate with ERP IT teams to ensure alignment between business needs and system functionality.
- Incorporate process standardization, automation, and simplification into system designs to streamline operations. Present complex information clearly, benchmark against industry best practices, and deliver spend analyses and reporting as required.
- Support the Value Analysis Manager by preparing and reviewing financial analyses for committee evaluations.
- Support the Sourcing & Contracting Manager by preparing procurement and contract utilization analyses, leveraging tools such as Advisory Board, ECRI, and Spend Analytics to strengthen business case development and cost management strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT, or related field and 4 years of relevant experience; or 8 years of progressively responsible supply chain systems experience.
- Demonstrated experience in supply chain functions, with advanced knowledge of sourcing, procurement, value analysis, inventory, logistics, distribution, warehousing, and fulfillment processes.
- Moderate to advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, data analysis, business case development, and ERP systems.
No certifications required.
