Our client seeks a motivated Business Analyst to serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams. The role will translate business needs into actionable requirements, improve stakeholder engagement, support project delivery, and ensure technology investments align with business objectives. The analyst will operate independently, build trust across stakeholder groups, and bridge technical teams and business leadership within a transforming organization focused on execution, alignment, and IT value.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. $40.00 to $50.00/hr. w2

• Build relationships with business and IT stakeholders and facilitate discussions, workshops, and discovery sessions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to challenge assumptions and drive productive conversations.
• Help partners understand technology capabilities and alignment to objectives.
• Elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and process requirements.
• Translate needs into clear requirements, process flows, workflows, user stories, and documentation.
• Ensure requirements align with goals and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with Project Management and IT leadership to support execution.
• Collaborate with development, technical leads, and stakeholders through the lifecycle.
• Assist with solution reviews, UAT activities, and implementation planning.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks early.
• Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements.
• Mature intake, requirements management, stakeholder engagement, and governance processes.
• Balance improvement initiatives with established practices and culture.

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting technology initiatives.
• Strong facilitation and requirements gathering experience.
• Ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.
• Experience documenting processes, workflows, use cases, or functional requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred:
  Experience with software development or technology transformation initiatives.
• Preferred:
  Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.
• Preferred:
  Exposure to project management and PMO environments.
• Preferred:
  Collaboration with developers, QA, infrastructure, and business leaders.
• Preferred:
  Knowledge of process improvement and operational excellence.
• Preferred:
  Experience in engineering, utility, manufacturing, or similar organizations.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
