Responsibilities

Client Engagement
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring satisfaction from start to finish.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand project goals, constraints, and vision.
  • Translate client feedback into actionable design and project decisions.
Project Management
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously from concept through construction completion.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery.
  • Oversee bidding, contractor selection, and construction observation as needed.
  • Oversee permitting processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage sales and develop targeted marketing strategies to promote services and grow revenue.
Design & Technical Execution
  • Ability to assist in creating landscape concepts, master plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts, and construction documents.
  • Ability to apply sustainable and context‑sensitive design principles.
  • Review drawings and specifications for accuracy, quality, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Focus on residential and commercial design/build projects, including but not limited to:
    • Pools, patios, and pavilions
    • Retaining walls and decks
    • Rain gardens, pathways, and plantings
    • Outdoor living areas and landscape maintenance
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and planners, to ensure cohesive design integration.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
  • 0–7 years of experience (open to both entry-level and experienced professionals).
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and design execution.
  • Starting at $80,000 annually, plus experience‑based pay and performance bonus.
