Anesthesiologist – 1099 Contractor CLASSIFICATION: 1099 Independent Contractor

LOCATION:

Maryland Region (Hospital & ASC Facilities)
CONTRACT TYPE:
Independent Contractor Agreement / Fee-for-Service SCOPE OF SERVICES REQUESTED Our organization is seeking qualified independent Anesthesiologist entities or solo practitioners to provide professional anesthesia services on a contract basis. The selected vendor will operate with full clinical and business autonomy, delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care across multiple designated hospital and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) sites within Maryland.

Contracted clinical deliverables include:

Case Completion Metrics:
The independent provision of safe, professional anesthesia care, including pre-operative evaluations, intra-operative administration, and post-operative management, resulting in the successful clinical completion of assigned surgical and procedural patient cases.

Executed Medical Records:
Delivery of fully completed, legally compliant anesthesia charts, clinical documentation, and signoffs for each case, prepared in a manner suitable for insurance and facility billing processing.

Contracted Availability:
Fulfillment of specific clinical coverage blocks or agreed service windows mutually confirmed by both parties prior to the date of service.

Qualifications VENDOR OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS As a 1099 independent contractor, the Anesthesiologist is responsible for managing their own taxes, insurance, and benefits. This role does not establish an employment relationship and is governed by the terms of the independent contractor agreement.

To be considered for this vendor pool, the contractor must verify:

Credentials & Licensing:
Active, unencumbered MD or DO from an accredited institution, completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency, Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology, and an active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Maryland.

Professional Liability:
Active medical malpractice insurance (Professional Liability) maintained at standard clinical limits, or the explicit ability to obtain malpractice insurance before services begin.

Equipment &

Certifications:

Contractor must maintain active BLS and ACLS certifications, an active DEA registration, and comply with standard facility credentialing and NPI protocols.
