BePresent : School Volunteer and Volunteer Mentor

#BePresent is an initiative designed to allow families, alumni, business and community partners, and members of the public to help strengthen bonds with schools across the county. #BePresent School Volunteers and #BePresent Volunteer Mentors will work in collaboration with and at the direction of school administrators; they will not be asked to deliver instruction or be present in classrooms.

#BePresent School Volunteers will provide school administrators with additional sets of eyes and ears in hallways and cafeterias to help students feel more safe and supported.

#BePresent Volunteer Mentors are positive role models who can provide students with one-on-one encouragement and guidance to enhance their educational experience and personal development.

#BePresent School Volunteers and #BePresent Volunteer Mentors will be trained and supported throughout the process.
