We are seeking a resourceful, self-motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with the ability to provide high-level engineering services for a broad range of clientele. Applications for this position are primarily sought for Pittsburgh, PA;
Camp Hill, PA;
Baltimore, MD and Annapolis, MD, but are also being accepted for B&L’s other office locations in New York. The position offers excellent career growth and advancement potential for the selected individual.

Provide high-level electrical engineering services for municipal, commercial, private and/or industrial facilities projects; design and manage small to large projects; collaborate with project teams including architects and other engineers to deliver integrated design solutions. Develop electrical studies, power distribution designs, lighting design, alarm systems, telecommunications and other electrical related work. Prepare and present technical analyses and proposals; mentor junior staff and assist with proposal development.

Manage projects to meet scope, schedule and budget expectations.

• A B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 10-15+ years of diverse consulting engineering experience on municipal, commercial, private, and/or industrial facilities projects.

• Acute analytical skills and the capability to design and manage projects of varying size.

• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering related to building and power distribution systems.

• Excellent communication and writing skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and/or Revit.

• Working knowledge of IEEE, NFPA, state building codes; familiarity with other project team members including architects and engineers is desired.

• Industry certifications such as Certified Energy Manager or LEED AP are a plus.

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in NY, PA or MD or eligibility to obtain is desired.

Estimated pay range: $115,000 - $145,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
