Responsibilities
Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional electrical engineerProvide CAD support utilizing AutoCAD and Microstation for electrical system design for movable bridges and transportation structuresSupport the electrical department with design concepts and calculations for power distribution systems, industrial control systems, lighting, etc.Perform field inspections of electrical systemsWrite inspection reports to document system condition with repair recommendationsApply engineering principles to solve complex problemsMinimum Qualifications
BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering TechnologyZero to two years of electrical engineering experienceKnowledge and interest in industrial controls, power distribution, and lightingExperience with the electrical construction industry (residential, commercial building, lighting, etc.) (preferred)Hands-on experience (preferred)Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detailExperience with CAD to develop engineering drawings, AutoCAD or Microstation (preferred)Salary range— $72,000-$75,000 annually. Salary commensurate with experience.
