Join our growing cardiac surgery team as a Perfusionist at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center. Our program provides a collaborative, supportive environment with a strong relationship between perfusion, cardiac surgery, anesthesia, and critical care. Our team manages a diverse clinical workload including adult cardiac surgery, ECMO, Impella, balloon pump support, and TAVR standby. We value clinical autonomy, teamwork, and a healthy work-life balance while maintaining high standards of patient care.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced surgeons and an established perfusion team while contributing to the continued growth of our program. We are seeking a motivated, dependable perfusionist who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and wants to become an integral part of a high-functioning cardiac program. Both experienced perfusionists and strong candidates looking to advance their careers are encouraged to apply.
- Graduation from a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs) Perfusion program
- B.S. degree in related healthcare field
- 3-5years of experience.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or ABCP eligibility. - Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Licensure as “Perfusion Advanced” (currently a CCP) by the Maryland Board of Physicians - Licensure/Certification/Registration: “Perfusion Basic” (not a CCP) - Graduate of a CAAHEP Perfusion program but have not completed the requirements to take the ABCP exam. Tenure contingent on obtaining licensure as Perfusion Advanced within 2 years of Perfusion Basic title
- CPR certification (must have American Heart Association - Health Care Provider)
