Position OverviewWe are seeking a senior cloud software expert to architect and lead delivery across complex distributed systems using the Hadoop ecosystem.
You will drive multi node deployments and advanced analytics that power time sensitive national security operations.
Key Responsibilities- Architect solutions to large scale cloud processing and retrieval problems
- Implement complex Map Reduce analytics and integrate distributed coordination frameworks
- Lead teams delegate work select processes and ensure quality control across multi node installations
- Debug issues within distributed frameworks and manage enterprise deployments
- Twelve years of software engineering experience with at least four years in Big Data cloud or distributed computing
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field or four additional years of relevant cloud software experience in lieu of degree
- Expertise with YARN Map Reduce Zookeeper HDFS HBase concurrent programming and JVM profiling
- Experience with information retrieval tools such as Lucene Solr or Mongo
DB and ingest of XML JSON CSV or Avro - Automation skills with Python Bash or Ruby and experience with PKI and corporate authentication services
- Linux experience and configuration tool proficiency; SIGINT or geolocation domain experience preferred

The pay range for this role is:
240, USD per year (Annapolis Junction)
