We are looking for an experienced HPC Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team!

Security Clearance Required

Requires an active TS/SCI Poly clearance.

Work Expected

STE/STN automation and monitoring sustainment

  • Frontend hardening
  • Utility frontdoor and courier containers
Container Security
  • Latte Art IAVM, PO&AM, etc.
RBAC and CMS Product Creation & Sustainment
  • Mapping of roles to permission sets
General Solution Security
  • Background hardening, as applicable
  • Security reviews and audits for other team’s products
Knowledge
  • Security expertise at the design and implementation level
Standard Day-to-Day
  • Define, develop, test, and deploy components of the solution
  • Work with an Agile team to create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with other team members to build and test software and hardware components
  • Participate in daily stand-up/scrum meetings
  • Conduct research, prototyping, and exploration activities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse IaC for large-scale computing systems
  • Work with installation, configuration, testing, and operational management of system solutions
Required Skills / Experience
  • Linux and Linux tools
  • Infrastructure automation technology:
    Ansible, Salt Stack, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, etc.
  • Willing and able to learn Ansible
  • Adhering to project‑specific Ansible coding standards
  • Familiar with full software‑development lifecycle support with version‑control tools (Git, Git Lab)
  • Work independently and within a team to ensure that all components function properly
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends in open source and commercial solutions
  • Communicative, collaborative, and organized
  • Willing and able to learn new tools, protocols, custom software, firmware, and hardware
Nice to Have
  • Programming in Ansible
  • Bash scripting
  • Python
  • Container orchestration technologies
  • Rancher Kubernetes Engine 2 (RKE2)
  • Best practices in Dev Sec Ops , system administration, infrastructure network services (DNS, DHCP, PXE, NTP, etc.)
  • Security concepts related to IAM, access control, secrets management, etc.
  • Security architecture
  • Cloud security
  • Red Hat IDM, Keycloak, Hashi Corp Vault, Delinea/Centrify
Qualifications
  • Requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Projected compensation range for this position is $100K - $160K. The range may be affected by contract wage determination, work experience, skills, geography, education, and federal contract categories.
