Description
The Technical/Functional Experts must provide Infrastructure Server and Sustainment services, which the Government will use to enhance and complement High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment capabilities across two sites and geographic locations, to include the integration and management of the Exceptionally Controlled Information (ECI) data system. Server Ops team members and the Government monitoring service (in some cases 24x7x365) both monitor systems.
All Systems will be integrated and utilize Government monitoring services. The Government monitoring service will monitor and report problems to the Team via Email/phone during business hours.
10 years’ experience in a large and complex IT environment providing industry and government recognized functional expertise in addition to related degree or 15 years’ experience in lieu of degree.
Proficient with the following (as specific position requires)- Provide Tier 0-4 support to server team at all three site locations, plus design and architecture support.
- Must have skills to install, configure, tune, and support the following:
- Servers running Sparc Solaris, SolarisX
64, Red Hat, and Suse, with direct attached and FC SAN storage. - Client server technology utilizing NFS and CIFS.
- Large memory SMP systems with many cores.
- Enterprise client server configurations.
- Multi-vendor file systems such as XFS, GPFS, and VXFS.
- Fielded systems.
- Blade systems and associated interconnects (SAD, FC, TCP/IP, etc.)
- Red Hat and Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Microsoft Exchange.
- Centrify.
- Infrastructure support services such as DNS, NIS, Active Directory, Centrify, Zenoss, Site Scope, HP Openview, HPSA, HPSE, Splunk, Sendmail, Exchange, Net Qos, Infoblox.
- Thin client solutions based on virtual bridges and Citrix.
- No
Machine NX. - Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers.
- Meet with vendors to discuss new technologies.
- Architect integration of authorized new technologies into environment.
- Provide support for design phases to include evaluation, government approval and integration planning.
DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required.
TS/SCI with FSP required. Most recent poly in the last 7 years required.
Salary Range$200k-$240k (Annually)*
