* Description:
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager to support mission-critical programs in a fast-paced Government Contracting (Gov Con) environment. This role requires a proven leader with strong program management and communication skills, deep understanding of federal contracting, and the ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Program Manager in overseeing all aspects of program execution, including planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
* Manage day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with contract requirements and customer expectations.
* Support contract and subcontract administration, including negotiation, execution, and compliance.
* Support staffing plans, recruitment coordination, and workforce management to meet program objectives.
* Monitor program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
* Prepare and deliver status reports, briefings, and presentations to internal leadership and government customers.
* Ensure adherence to corporate policies, security requirements, and quality standards.
* Identify and mitigate risks, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
* Lead subcontracts associated with the mission focused team (MFT).
* Prepare program status reviews and other formal reviews to be presented to the Government.
* Review all financial and technical reports before being released to the Government.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams.
* Prior experience with classified programs and secure facilities.
* Have experience and understanding of customer's RMF and associated systems.
Required Qualifications:
* Must have a PMP, FAC-P/PM Senior Level, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certification in Program Management.
* Shall be knowledgeable of the guidelines provided by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD 5000 series, and ICD 801 policies.
* 8+ years of relevant experience in program or project management. Demonstrated experience supporting Government Contracting (Gov Con) programs.
* Strong background in contracts, subcontracts, staffing, and finance.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools. Requirements:

* Certification Requirements:
* PMP, FAC-P/PM Senior Level, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certification in Program Management required. This position requires an active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
