ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support and enhance the organization's Open Shift container platform through installation, maintenance, and operationalization of Open Shift Operators.

Develop and implement infrastructure automation solutions to improve platform reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across Open Shift, Kubernetes, AWS, and supporting infrastructure environments.

Support logging, monitoring, observability, service mesh, and other platform services essential to containerized environments.

Collaborate with application development teams to support containerized application deployment and operations.

Assist with Dev Sec Ops  initiatives, CI/CD pipeline enhancements, and infrastructure modernization efforts.

Develop automation tools and scripts using Java, Python, Shell, and related technologies.

Support Kubernetes and Open Shift platform administration, configuration, and operational activities.

Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

Work within Agile teams to deliver infrastructure and platform enhancements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud, containerization, or platform engineering solutions.

Experience with Open Shift, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.

Experience with AWS cloud services.

Experience developing automation scripts using Bash/Shell, Python, or Java.

Experience supporting CI/CD and Dev Sec Ops  practices.

Experience troubleshooting production environments and infrastructure issues.

Knowledge of Linux administration and container technologies such as Docker.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Experience working within Agile teams.

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Experience supporting CMS, Federal Government, or healthcare systems.

Red Hat Open Shift administration experience in production environments.

Experience with Red Hat Open Shift certification (EX280) or equivalent container platform certifications.

Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and service mesh technologies.

Experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka.

Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

Experience implementing infrastructure automation and Dev Sec Ops  solutions.

EDUCATION &

CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
