Description

We are seeking a Dev Ops Engineer responsible for providing Tier I/II support for the integrated watch floor capability within a 24×7/365 operational environment. You'll operate as single point of contact (SPOC) between the service provider and operational users, capturing, logging, categorizing, and prioritizing all incidents via a standardized ticketing system;
Tier I/II personnel will cover the watch floor if not elsewhere. Perform initial diagnosis using established knowledge bases and incident models. Attempt first-contact resolution for standard issues (password resets, account access, basic navigation, known errors). Escalate unresolved incidents to Tier II support via functional escalation procedures. Maintain incident status communication with users throughout the resolution lifecycle. Document all troubleshooting steps and resolution actions to populate and expand the knowledge base.

Provide 24/7/365 coverage via rotating 12 hour shifts (0500 and 1700 daily), aligning with 2 week rotation schedules.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is required. May substitute four years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Two (2) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, Dev Sec Ops . May substitute two years' experience with MS in Engineering or CS.

Required skills:

• Operating Systems & Administration:
  • Linux system administration (RHEL / CentOS, etc.)
  • Scripting with Python / Bash
• Containerization & Orchestration:
  • Experience with Docker
  • Recent (within 3 years) hands‑on work with Kubernetes and cluster orchestration
• Cloud & Dev Sec Ops :
  • Cloud deployment experience
  • Familiarity with security-focused Dev Ops practices
• Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+)
• Be available for 24/7 call-in support for operational system critical discrepancies

The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $144,000 - $158,000.
