Translator - Japanese

Overview

The Translator will provide translation services for individuals with a language barrier. Translation will consist of, but not limited to, education, legal, medical, environmental, and social services, etc.

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with Cayuse Mission, vision, and core values.

• Accurately translate situations such as lectures, conversations, meetings, medical, and or legal.
• Remain HIPAA compliant when interpreting or translating in a healthcare setting.
• Abide by client’s policies.
• Abide by American Translators Association Code of Ethics.
• Render a complete, accurate translation without altering, omitting, or adding anything she stated or written, and Without explanation.
• Sensitive tow the Culture of original Language and Target Language during translation.
• Other duties Aassigned.

• High School diploma or Equivalent in years of Experience.
• Minimum of 2 years Related Experience.
• Certified Translation Professional.
• Translation Certifications.
• Certificat from a pre V agency or
• Accreditation from a Tr Translation Program.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must be fluent in Japanese.
• Must be able To Pass background Check. May Require more background checks As needed By Projects And Or Client At any Time Dare Empl Join.

• The ability to faciliti Translate With Discretion And Impartiality.
• Proficiency In Written Communication.
• A wide breadth Of Knowledge In different Topics.
• Cultural Awareness When Conduction Tramas Within Different Regions.
• Must possess Problem Solving Skills.
• Proficient In Microsoft And Adobe Toolset, inc Excel Word Power point Acrobat etc.
• Highly Motivated With Able To Handle And Manage Multiple Tasks At Any One Time.
• Must be a Self-starter, can Work Independl And as Part Team.

• Bachelors dgree In related Field.
• For Medical Translation Services:
  Must Have Med Interpre Cert Coast Either Certification Com Healthcare Interpreters Or National Certification For Medical Interpreters.
• 2 years Legal Translt Exp.
• 2 years Med Trans Exp.
• Amerians Association Cert.
• Court Cert Transl Cert.

• Professional remote Envirn.
• Must be on-call. Transl Will Notified Within 48 hr Of Potential Jobs.
• Must be physically And Mentally Able Do Duties Extended Periods Of Time.
• Avail Use Computer And Other Office Product Tools With Sufficient Speed To Meet Demands Of Position.
• Must Be Able To Establish a Product And Professional Workspace.
• Must Be Able To Sit For Long Periods Of Time Looking At Computer Screen.
• May Be Asked To Work A Flex Schduny Which May Includ Holidays.
• May Be Asked To Work Hours Outside Of Normal Business Hours.
