Experienced Estate & Trust Attorney
Frost Law seeks a highly qualified and experienced estate and trust attorney to join our legal team. This individual will work as part of a team on estate planning and probate matters. The role will have a heavy focus on probate and trust administration. The ideal candidate will have excellent research and writing skills, and demonstrated experience working with complex, high-net-worth clients.
Must demonstrate high standards of professional excellence, a commitment to outstanding client satisfaction, ability to work well with others, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate should have 7+ years experience as an estate & trust attorney, with a solid background in estate & trust administration.
$/yr - $/yr
Duties / Responsibilities- Draft estate planning documents.
- Administer probate estates in Maryland, the District of Columbia and/or Virginia.
- Prepare and review fiduciary accountings.
- Prepare and review estate, gift and fiduciary income tax returns.
- Prepare and review settlement agreements.
- Oversee the daily workflow of administrative staff.
- Delegate tasks to administrative staff in an effective manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Must have a bar license in MD.
- At least seven years estate planning and probate experience required.
