About the Program:
Charlene’s Circle of Support’s I MATTER Program empowers youth through workshops designed to build identity, resilience, and social-emotional growth. Our upcoming event will provide interactive sessions for youth ages 7–12 and 13–18
, focusing on social, emotional, and mental health, as well as life skills development.

Role

Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Facilitator to lead and inspire youth participants in a day-long workshop. The facilitator will create an engaging, supportive, and age-appropriate environment that encourages participation, self-expression, and confidence.

• Facilitate fun, interactive, and age-appropriate workshops for youth ages 7–12 and 13–18.
• Deliver activities that build social-emotional awareness, mental wellness, and life skills.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
• Collaborate with CCOS staff and volunteers to ensure smooth program delivery.
• Encourage youth to share, participate, and connect with peers.

• Experience working with youth in educational, nonprofit, or community settings.
• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse groups of young people.
• Knowledge of youth development, social-emotional learning, and mental health topics.
• Creative, flexible, and energetic teaching style.
• Ability to manage time, groups, and activities effectively.
