Overview

The Staffing Coordinator plays a vital role in organizing schedules for nursing teams, ensuring efficient operations and timely provision of resources under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

Salary & Benefits

Base pay range
: $20.22 /hr – $28.00 /hr. Additional compensation may include bonuses and incentives, subject to applicable program schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as liaison between Nurse Management and nursing staff regarding schedules.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing with creating, organizing, and maintaining schedules for all nursing staff.
  • Communicate scheduling changes to nursing staff.
  • Review time‑off requests and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Maintain detailed staffing records and documentation.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience scheduling nurse staff, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
  • Strong multitasking ability in a high‑stress environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills and computer‑literacy in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to respond quickly in emergency staffing situations.
