Nurse Manager, ICU Stepdown

About the Hospital/Health System/Department:

• Progressive and growing 450+ bed trauma center and teaching hospital
• Position will manage a busy, growing 30+ bed ICU Stepdown Unit with a team of 65 FTE's including two Assistant Nurse Manager
• Reports directly to a collaborative and dynamic Director of Nursing

• The Nurse Manager, ICU Stepdown will be responsible for the day to day operations of the department, mentoring and leading a team, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and quality, regulatory compliance, and building positive and collaborative relationships across all levels

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• RN Active License State of Maryland
• At least two (2) years of nursing leadership experience in the acute care hospital setting (minimum Supervisor level managing a team)
• Proven track record in managing and mentoring teams, ensuring best practices and providing your team with the tools it needs to be successful
• Adaptive and engaged leadership style, and able to work collaboratively across all levels
