• The Director, Surgical Services (RN) will manage the strategic direction of the Surgical Services Department (Operating Rooms, Same Day Surgery, Pre-Admission, PACU, and Central Sterile)
• Will manage a team of 105+ FTE's and report directly to a dynamic and collaborative Chief Nursing Officer

Qualifications & Requirements for Director, Surgical Services (RN)

• Master's degree required (must have Master's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing)
• RN Active License State of Maryland
• CNOR is a plus
• Minimum two (2) years of progressive surgical services/operating room leadership experience at Manager level or above in an inpatient surgical services/operating room setting
• Minimum five (5) years of Operating Room nursing experience is required
• Transformational and inspirational leadership style
• Should be able to identify growth opportunities, recruitment and retention strategies, build collaborative relationships with surgeons, and ensure the highest level of patient safety and quality
