Position: full stack developer  Annapolis , MD point

Software Engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. A full stack software engineer will be expected to design, develop, test, deploy, document, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements. These systems might include, but are not limited to, processing intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, business management information systems, and systems which incorporate data repositories, data transport services, and application and systems development and monitoring.

Responsibilities
  • Be able to work as a part of a team as you design, develop, test, deploy, document, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.
  • Review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and to document test results.
  • Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
  • Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Open-Source Software (OSS) and/or Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software in place of new development.
  • Perform requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
  • Have experience developing in Unix.
  • Possess the ability to perform shell scripting.
  • Have a working knowledge of Configuration Management (CM) tools and Web Services implementation.
    • Requirements
  • Experience using the Linux CLI.
  • Experience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes.
  • Recent software development experience using front end technologies such as VueJS, React

    JS, Angular, Node, npm and other front end toolkits and frameworks.
  • Recent software development experience using back end languages and frameworks such as Java, Spring, and Maven.
  • Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Git Lab CI.
  • Experience with Git Source Control System.
    • Nice To Have
  • Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including Ansible.
  • Experience with containerization principles and tools such as Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes.
  • AWS experience.
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Experience with message bus frameworks such as Kafka and Rabbit.
  • Technical leadership experience.
    • Clearance

    TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
