The Role Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to perform software development activities as a member of an agile development team. You will be responsible for turning agile stories into new capabilities, from development and testing to deployment. This is an opportunity to contribute to a complex system, focusing on either server-side business logic or client-facing web application and user interface (UI) development, with a strong emphasis on Dev Ops automation and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

What You'll Bring A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least 5+ years of experience Demonstrated experience with Java

Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems Familiarity with languages like Python, C/C++, and SQL

Experience with Web Application User Interface Development Knowledge of web services (SOAP, WSDL, WADL) and data formats (JSON, HTML, XML, XSLT)

Experience with JEE (EJB, JPA, JTA, etc.) and application servers (Tomcat, Web Logic, JBoss)

Experience with Agile developer practices such as TDD, Refactoring, and BDD

Experience with secure software development and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology Clearance Requirements TS/SCI with FS Polygraph is required.
