The Growth organization drives Coinbase’s mission of bringing the world onchain. By building and leveraging growth tools across multiple avenues, including referral and incentives programs, creating a world-class notifications system, building a dynamic, engaging, and accessible logged-out web experience, and optimizing our new user onboarding flow, we ensure that Coinbase is the easiest, safest, and fastest way to buy, hold, and trade Crypto assets, and ensure our new users are set up for success from their first interaction.

The Growth team is seeking an experienced Frontend engineers to join our team to build out the next generation of crypto-forward products and features. You will solve unique, large scale, highly complex technical problems, bridging the constraints posed by web-scale applications and blockchain technology. You will help build the next generation of systems to make cryptocurrency accessible to everyone across the globe, operating real-time applications with high frequency, low latency updates, and managing the most secure infrastructure running in the cloud.

• You have at least 5 years of experience in developing web and/or mobile apps and shipping user-facing features with React, JavaScript, and Typescript.
• You’ve led and landed meaningful projects and are seen as a subject matter expert on your team
• You’ve developed and shipped user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks.
• You’re familiar with product and design life cycles, and collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
• You write high-quality, well-tested, extensible code.
• You take pride in being up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices in frontend architecture.
• You are proactive, have a growth-mindset, and empower and cultivate your teammates.

• You have experience launching new products from 0 to 1 at scale.
• You’ve worked on growth engineering or other similar high-availability financial systems.

Pay Transparency Notice:
Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility + equity eligibility + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Pay Range: $186,065—$218,900 USD
