Cloud Software Engineer-TS​/SCI poly

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field from an accredited college or university is highly desired which will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience.
  
  NOTE:
  
  A degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree will be considered as a technical field.
• Shall have a total of at least 2 years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
• Experience with Java/Spring/Junit
• Experience with Git/Git Lab

• Experience with Full Stack development with both front and back-end experience (Java/JavaScript)
• Experience with JavaScript (React or Vue.js)
• Experience with JSON
• Familiarity with Mongo DB
• Familiarity with Elastic Search/ELK
• Familiarity with Redis
• Familiarity with Docker
• Familiarity with Docker orchestration (Swarm, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing Services - Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Familiarity with Git Lab CI/CD or Jenkins
• Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
• At least one of the following Cloud Developer Certifications is DESIRED:
  • AWS Certified Developer-Associate
  • AWS Dev Ops Engineer Professional
  • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

Peraton supports multiple products that automate manual tasks so that mission customers can focus on more complex issues. The team employs Agile methodologies and Dev Ops principles to ensure that high-quality, reliable software is delivered to the customer. The position is to be performed at contractor facility which allows for flexible work schedules.
