Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support the development, modernization, and enhancement of mission-critical collaboration platforms in Annapolis Junction, MD
. The Senior Full Stack Developer will design and develop secure web applications using JavaScript, Type Script, Linux, and open-source technologies while contributing to system architecture, Dev Ops automation, and Agile development initiatives.
This position is hybrid in Annapolis Junction, MD, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph!

Responsibilities of the Senior Full Stack Developer:

Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable web applications and collaboration platforms
Develop frontend and backend solutions using JavaScript, Type Script, PHP, and modern web technologies
Support Drupal-based applications and open-source development frameworks
Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and implement technical solutions
Participate in software architecture, system design, and application modernization initiatives
Develop and optimize database integrations using PostgreSQL and other relational databases
Improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Dev Ops processes
Support application deployments, system enhancements, and production troubleshooting in Linux environments
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments
Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote software development best practices

Qualifications for the Senior Full Stack Developer:

Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
10+ years of software development, full stack engineering, or systems engineering experience
Strong experience with JavaScript and/or Type Script frontend development
Experience designing and developing secure web applications in Linux environments
Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational database technologies
Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Dev Ops practices
Experience working within Agile/Scrum software development teams
Strong understanding of software architecture, application security, and modern development practices
Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience developing and maintaining PHP and Drupal applications
Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
Experience with No

SQL databases, particularly Elasticsearch
Knowledge of accessibility standards, responsive design, and user experience (UX) principles
Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
Experience implementing automated testing and deployment pipelines
Strong technical documentation, writing, and presentation skills

Compensation for the Senior Full Stack Developer includes:

Salary: $170,000 - $210,000
