Civil Superintendent

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Civil Superintendent to oversee daily field operations on large-scale civil construction projects. This individual will be responsible for managing crews, subcontractors, equipment, safety, quality, and project schedules while ensuring work is completed efficiently and in accordance with project specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience leading site development, earthwork, grading, utility, concrete, and paving operations and will serve as the primary field leader for construction activities.

This is a fully onsite role 5 days a week.

• Manage and supervise daily field operations from project start through completion
• Direct labor crews, operators, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure safe and productive work execution
• Coordinate construction sequencing and work activities to maintain project schedules
• Monitor workforce productivity and equipment utilization
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Conduct daily safety meetings, enforce OSHA, and company safety requirements
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Owners, and Inspectors
• Review work plans, schedules, and manpower requirements
• Identify and resolve field issues that may impact project progress
• Oversee site logistics, material deliveries, and subcontractor coordination
• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and progress updates

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience on civil construction projects
• Experience working on federal construction projects
• Experience managing multiple field crews and subcontractors
• Knowledge of GPS grading systems, earthwork operations, and utility installation
• OSHA 30 Certification
