Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Hybrid IT Infrastructure Administrator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a "jack-of-all-trades" IT professional who can seamlessly bridge the gaps between traditional on‑premises infrastructure and modern cloud environments. You will be the primary on‑site resource for managing our network, servers, and cloud platforms while providing expert on‑site support to ensure seamless business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Network Administration:
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LANs, WANs, VPNs, switches, routers, and firewalls. Monitor network performance and ensure connectivity and security. - Systems Administration:
Manage and maintain internal IT systems, including physical and virtual servers (Windows and/or Linux environments), Active Directory, email systems, and data storage solutions. Implement and manage user access controls and permissions. - Cloud Architecture & Support:
Assist in designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud solutions within platforms such as our cloud applications. Troubleshoot cloud‑based system issues and ensure secure, scalable, and cost‑effective cloud operations. - On‑Site IT Support:
Provide high‑level, on‑site technical support to end‑users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues as part of daily operations and emergency response. - Security & Compliance:
Implement and maintain robust security measures, including patching, backups, and disaster recovery plans, ensuring data integrity and compliance with best practices. US GOV CMMC knowledge a plus. - Documentation & Automation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes and configurations. Utilize scripting to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency. - Vendor Coordination:
Interface with third‑party vendors and service providers to diagnose complex issues and implement solutions.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related discipline. - Experience:
A minimum of 3‑6 years of hands‑on experience in a combination of network administration, systems administration, and IT support roles.
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration and operating systems.
- Hands‑on experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing, VPNs).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
- Experience with major cloud platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Must be customer‑service focused, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
