The primary purpose of the PB Knife Grinding and Setting Operator is to prepare and deliver high‑quality, sharpened knives and cutting tools to the production line. The role involves setting up and operating grinding machines, shaping and sharpening knives according to blueprints, and troubleshooting as needed. Assistance may be required for maintenance and preventive repairs to support continuous line operations.

• The ability to read and comprehend technical work instructions.
• Some experience with heavy machinery or the capacity to learn quickly.
• Proficiency in using electric, pneumatic, or hand tools.
• Certification to operate a forklift is desirable.
• Comfort with metric measurements.
• Excellent teamwork and independent working skills.
• Adaptability under continuous operation, extreme heat, and cold.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb stairs or ladders safely.
• Creative problem‑solving skills, both individually and as part of a group.
