The Shift Leader for Laminates production is responsible for safety, cost, quality, and on-time delivery of products for their shift. The Shift Leader is also responsible for housekeeping, cleanliness of machinery, cost effective supply utilization, discipline, and morale on their shift. This is an hourly position. This position may be required to fill in for other positions during absences.

• Basic to Intermediate computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and/or in a team environment
• Excellent time management skills
• Must have the qualities of stress tolerance, persistence, self-control, self-organization, integrity and flexibility

• 3+ years of production experience in a laminate manufacturing environment
• Degree in Forest Products, Engineering, Industrial Technology or similar discipline
• 3+ years in a position of leadership
• Advanced knowledge of product quality standards and end uses
