The CRNP shall perform clinical (diagnostic/therapeutic) functions and procedures as appropriate to the scope of preparation and specialty certification for which competency has been validated and maintained and as reflected in the CRNP protocol approved by Alabama Board of Nursing.
Education and ExperienceRequired: Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Alabama is required for approval and for subsequent renewal of approval. Master’s prepared or higher degree in nursing and graduation from a nurse practitioner educational program. Certification as a nurse practitioner in the appropriate area of practice from a national certifying body recognized by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
License, Certification and/Or RegistrationRequired: Current Alabama CRNP license. Current CPR certification required or must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.

(10) demonstrate the quality work ethic of doing the right thing the right way; and (11) maintain a customer focus and strive to satisfy the customer's perceived needs.
