The FNP/PA will perform clinical (diagnostic and therapeutic) functions and procedures within the scope of their certification, as approved by the Alabama Board of Nursing and reflected in the CRNP protocol.

Required:

Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Alabama, a master's or higher degree in nursing, graduation from a nurse practitioner educational program, and certification as a nurse practitioner from a recognized national certifying body.

Required:

Current Alabama CRNP license and CPR certification (to be obtained within 30 days of employment).
