As a Quality Engineering Technologist, your daily responsibilities will include creating inspection documents for product acceptance, processing inspection reports, and facilitating continuous improvement within the Receiving Inspection department. You will use your quality systems experience and attention to detail to review hardware and documentation records as part of the product acceptance process. You will create formal audit reports and provide summary updates to the department manager.
As needed, you will support metrology inspections using FARO and Keyence equipment.
This role is full‑time and on‑site in Anniston, AL. Standard hours are 5 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday, with additional workdays scheduled as needed.

Job Responsibilities- Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation and control systems for incoming material, inventory pulls and metrology inspections.
- Create, implement and document methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of material.
- Design and assess inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment, and conduct quality assurance tests.
- Use lean and Six‑Sigma quality methodologies and quality tools to drive continuous improvement.
- Create formal audit reports and provide summary updates to the department manager.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical discipline with at least two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid understanding of Quality Assurance / Quality Control fundamentals and concepts.
- Experience operating within ISO 9001 standards.
- Experience with standard and industry‑related software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications including Oracle or TipQA.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to guide and mentor others.
- Experience creating and documenting inspection criteria.
- Experience using Oracle and TipQA.
- Experience working in a quality program supporting government contracts, preferably DoD.
- Experience in root cause analysis.
- Metrology experience (FARO Arm, FARO Tracker, Keyence, etc.).
- Background using Poly Works is preferred.
- Paint inspection experience.
- Formal 6S training.
Full‑time salary range: $63,662 – $108,225.
This range reflects our market pay structures; final compensation is determined by business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.
