MS Companies is seeking an experienced CMM / Poly Works contractor to support a short-term project in Anniston, Alabama. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Poly Works metrology software, with the ability to support dimensional inspection, measurement programming, and quality verification activities in a manufacturing environment.

This is a project‑based, 1099 contract opportunity with travel expenses included. Candidates must be able to support an onsite assignment lasting at least two weeks, with the potential for the project to extend based on business needs.

• Hands‑on experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• Proficiency with Poly Works software for dimensional inspection and measurement programming.
• Experience creating, modifying, or troubleshooting CMM inspection programs.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and dimensional specifications.
• Experience performing dimensional measurements and validating part conformance.
• Ability to work independently and provide onsite technical support.
• Availability to work onsite in Anniston, AL, for a minimum of two weeks.
• Must be able to contract through an established LLC for 1099 engagement.

• Experience supporting automotive or other precision manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes and measurement reporting.
• Experience troubleshooting measurement discrepancies and inspection program issues.
• Ability to work with engineering and quality teams to resolve dimensional concerns.

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot CMM inspection programs using Poly Works.
• Perform dimensional inspections and verify parts against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Review measurement results and identify dimensional discrepancies.
• Support troubleshooting of CMM programming and measurement issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality personnel to address inspection concerns.
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

The contractor will work onsite in a manufacturing environment and may be required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while operating inspection equipment and reviewing measurement data. Must be able to follow applicable site safety requirements.
