Job DescriptionThis part‑time position is essential to the success of our retail stores. Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin‑Williams products, recommend appropriate solutions, and resolve any concerns. Specialists maintain high quality visual standards and store cleanliness while consistently meeting sales goals. The selected candidate will work at stores within a 25‑mile radius of Store #702773, located at 930 S Quintard Ave, Anniston, AL 36201.
Responsibilities- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
- Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
- Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
- Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Maintain precise work order files and inventory records.
- Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
- Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
- Stock shelves, set up displays and maintain an in‑stock, presentable condition.
- Clean store equipment and maintain the store’s visual standards.
- Load/unload and assist with deliveries as required.
- Stay knowledgeable on product offerings and discuss available options.
- Comply with inventory control and safety procedures.
- Provide suggestions for improving sales and customer experience.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service.
- Previous experience selling paint or paint‑related products.
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
- Proficiency in Spanish.
