Field Technician

• Perform repairs of Outdoor Warning Systems on utility poles, buildings, and other structures.
• Operate a bucket truck with a 40’ boom and aerial lifts.
• Travel to job sites for up to two weeks.
• Read and interpret site plans and equipment specifications.
• Use test equipment, hand tools, and software for various repairs.
• Adhere to safe work practices.
• Work occasional overtime, after–hours, and/or weekends when needed.

• Minimum of two (2) years electronics degree or military equivalent.
• Basic use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using a voltmeter and basic hand tools.
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and obtain a DOT medical card.
• Requires background checks and drug screening with hair follicle test.

The physical environment requires work inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Frequent standing, walking, sitting, hand use, reaching, climbing stairs, speaking, hearing, and use of protective equipment are required. The employee must lift up to 50 pounds, sometimes ascend/descend ladders, operate a motor vehicle, and work under stressful conditions while handling equipment.

Must be able to travel as needed; some overnight travel may be expected.
