Job Type: Full-Time (260 days, 8 hrs/day)
Hours: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday‑Friday
Duties: This class A secretarial position has the responsibility of being the first point of contact for all visitors to the district office and all phone inquiries on the district main line. Responsibilities include welcoming and greeting guests, screening and routing incoming phone calls, providing information to the public and giving instructions. This position also screens all district office guests via the Raptor Visitor Management System and plays a role in maintaining a safe and secure building.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Proven excellence in customer service across diverse backgrounds and languages, effective and clear interpersonal communication skills, the ability to solve problems and multitask, proficient computer skills—especially navigating websites and using Google Docs.
Preferred
Skills and Experience:
One year of relevant experience and/or training preferred. General knowledge of school district operations, experience using a multi‑line phone system, troubleshooting basic computer issues, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and web browsers.
Rate of pay: $19.05/hour to $24.85/hour.
Insurance benefits available for assigned positions of 6 hours or more per day and 194 days per year.
